Disarmament and International Security Committee
Agenda: Disarmament - Preventing Arms Race
The Disarmament and International Security Committee deals with disarmament, global challenges and threats to peace that affect the international community and seeks out solutions to the challenges in the international security regime. With the increasing hostility in the world there is an increase in demand to come up with measures which in turn ensures global peace but not at the cost of the country's security. Considering the general principles of co-operation in the maintenance of international peace and security is the main focus. The state of International Security has never been more fragile with new threats emerging daily and new roles of non-state actors. The decisions made by this Committee will undoubtedly have repercussions that will be felt throughout the world and for many years to come.
